For more than 60 years, the Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements (CPEM) has been the premier forum for all scientists working in this exciting field. And for the first time in its long history, CPEM is coming to Aotearoa New Zealand.
Hosted by the Measurement Standards Laboratory (MSL), in collaboration with the National Measurement Institute of Australia (NMIA), this conference will see world-leading experts attend the conference at the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington from 12-16 December.

HTS magnets operate at much higher temperatures than LTS magnets, are robust, compact and easy to use. They can be ramped faster and to higher fields than LTS magnets, providing unique user advantages.
Examples include sample environment magnets for neutron and x-ray beamlines, fast-ramping dipole magnets for high throughput magnetic property analysis, and high uniformity magnets for NMR and MRI. Our class-leading “SuperCurrent” electrical transport measurement tool, specifically developed for automated HTS wire critical current measurement as a function of field, field-angle, and temperature, offers measurement currents to over 1500 A, sample temperatures to below 15 K, and magnetic field strength to 12 tesla.
